Join the PhilaMade creative community at Frankford Hall for a show and tell of just a few of the exciting emerging projects from creatives in the region.

  • John Gruber of the much-loved Daring Fireball blog will talk about the process of creating Vesper, a simple and elegant iOS app  for collecting notes, ideas, things to do. 
  • Yesenia Perez-Cruz and Katie High of Happy Cog, with Danielle Friel of Garces Group: Garces Group and Happy Cog teamed up to create an extensible, responsive design system and code base that allowed Garces to easily maintain both the restaurants' brands as well as content.
  • Dan Mall, founder of SuperFriendly, a Philadelphia-based design studio will share a few stories from the trenches of both big and small responsive projects. We’ll talk about Photoshop, workflows, project management methodologies, new kinds of deliverables, and more.
  • Beah Burger-Lenehan, VP of Product at Ticketleap, will talk about the invention, design, and development of their boldest project to date ~Selfie Tickets~ and it's brave journey from crazy idea to the app store.
